New Song! – Soon

Hey guys, I know it’s been forever since I posted here, but I got busy with AP Exams and yadayadayadayadayada… You don’t care to hear about that. What you’re interested in is my new song! Right? Anyway, this is a go I had a trap. My first attempt in fact. So it’s rough around the edges, but I think you can forgive that. Enjoy!

Fortress Ft. Anna Belmonte

Hey guys, so I realize that I’m gradually turning this blog into a multimedia blog versus a writing blog with all the videos I’ve been posting lately, but this is a project that is actually pretty close to my heart because it’s a song I wrote for my girlfriend, Anna (you can find her blog over here) and I actually convinced her to sing in it for me. 🙂 So, here’s the final song which I figured you guys could listen to if you’re interestedEnjoy. 🙂

Lyrics

*verse*
Now we go home
Carrying weights of stone
War- over now we know
Strife outside ceased
But our hearts need peace
Love- making bonds increase
*build-up*
I solemnly swear to protect you forever
*drop*

Let our song rise up in the night
From our fortress shining so bright
Standing strong in every fight
Come now, bring the light

*verse*
Two yet we’re one
All the battles won
Walls- keep us safe like none
Hide here with me
In the fortress lee
Stay- I’ll give you safety
*build-up*
I solemnly swear to protect you forever
*drop*
Let our song rise up in the night
From our fortress shining so bright
Standing strong in every fight
Come now, bring the light
Hope in our hearts beating harder
Love in our veins flowing faster
Faith in God our Lord and Master
Fortress, shields forever
*bridge*

*drop B*

Hold tight to me
That I may breathe
Our love binds tight
Holds us high

Fortress shields us
God our Master keeps us
Candle in the night

Bring the light

*drop*
Let our song rise up in the night
From our fortress shining so bright
Standing strong in every fight
Come now, bring the light
Hope in our hearts beating harder
Love in our veins flowing faster
Faith in God our Lord and Master
Fortress, shields forever
I hope you enjoyed this song, because I really enjoyed creating it. 🙂

Heartless– Cold Hands– Hammersfield (Song)

This took waaayyy too long. But fun story, I initially started making it with Hammersfield in mind, the halfway through I thought I could use it for Those Left Behind, then once I was done I decided it had to be Hammersfield. So I present Hammersfield, a mainly experimental track with a lot of melodic elements. 50 different bars of it in fact (not counting the harmonies), but I didn’t use 8 bars of that 50, so really 42 bars of melody. 🙂

Yup. Now get your gears ready for chapter 12…. 😀

The Truth Video Visualizer Thingy

So, I put in some more effort and threw together this visualizer for The Truth (song). It still clips a little bit, but not as badly as Morpheus I don’t think. 😉 Anyways, you’ve probably already heard The Truth, but if you haven’t, now you have a pretty visualizer video to go along with it. 😀

Hope you liked it.

Heartless– Cold Hands– The Truth (Song)

So, imagine this. Wide panning shot of a lone mountain peak in a snowstorm. On that peak is a man crying out his faults to the world. That’s this song– sort of. Enjoy. 🙂

So, what did you think?

By the way, if you’re curious, the lyrics are as follows:

I am ice– that’s what I am told

Don’t come near, I’m like fool’s gold.

My heart is stone and my hands are cold

Stay away, for my soul is sold

Heartless– Cold Hands– ALIAS (Song)

And, the song for chapter eight has finally arrived! Here’s my description for it: memories, sad stuff, family, mystery, strangeness, memories, sad stuff, deep thought, emotion, pace increasing, chasing, chasing, fighting, pause, revelation, pain, emotion, M.

Yeah, this song is the longest one so far. It took me forever to make. Believe me. You have no idea the hours I clocked making this. 😛 Also, just in case you’re curious, this song actually has three drops, but the first two are only one part drops. Most of the actual length of this song comes from the tempo.

Hope you liked that. Once again, not exactly my style, but I think the melodic and harmonic elements make up for it.
